2023年11月3日の公開された映画「ゴジラ-1.0」が邦画初となるScreen Xでの上映に対応しました。
Screen Xとは、通常のスクリーンの両側面の壁にスクリーンが追加され、270度の視界で映画を鑑賞できるシステムです。
ゴジラは迫力が求められる映画なので、臨場感が増すことで更に楽しめるのではないかと想像できます。
ところで、Screen Xはどこの映画館で体験することができるのでしょうか。
Screen Xは全国の15か所の映画館にある
2023年10月現在、Screen Xは全国の15か所の映画館にしかありません。
まだ上映される作品が少ないこともあってか、普及が進んでいません。
設置されている映画館は以下のとおりですが、やはり東京都が4か所と多く、その他はこれから導入される場所を含め11か所が11道府県にある状態です。

4DX Screenとは？
「4DX Screen」とは、「Screen X」に元々あった演出システム「4DX」が合わさったものです。
「4DX」とは、座席が動いたり、風が吹いてきたり、エアーが顔等に吹きかかったりするリアルな演出が追加されたシステムです。
詳しくは、下記のような演出です。
4DXは、韓国のCJ 4DPLEX社が開発した映画用の演出システムです。主な演出は下記の通り。

- モーション：前後・上下・左右に動く座席と振動
- エアー：顔、頬、耳へのエアー噴射
- フラッシュ：照明による光の演出
- 香り：シーンに合わせた香りの噴射
- 風：強力なファンにより吹き付ける風
- 水：シーンに合わせて飛び散る水や雨
- バブル：劇場内を漂う泡
- 煙：スクリーン周辺から噴射される幻想的な煙
- 嵐：風と水の組み合わせ
- 雪：スクリーン周辺に舞い散るリアルなパウダースノー
※劇場によっては上記組み合わせによる演出説明がされている場合もあります。

良い評判
Screen Xを体感した良い感想をX（旧Twitter）に投稿している方は結構多いです。
アーティストのライブでも導入されているようで、臨場感があって良いようです。
あまり良くない・悪い評判
Screen Xを体感した人たちの内、あまり良くない・悪い評判だけを集めました。
作品による違いもあるようなので、一概には言えませんが、人によって感じ方も違うようです。
左右画面の光量が低いとは？
先ほどのX（旧Twitter）の投稿に、「左右画面の光量が低い」という声がありますが、両側面のスクリーンは正面のスクリーンと違う素材の映画館が多いようです。
その点をクリアしたのが、2023年7月に導入した大阪府の「109シネマズ箕面」と2023年12月15日に導入予定の宮城県の「１０９シネマズ富谷」です。
Screen Xの追加料金はいくら？
Screen Xを見るためには、追加料金は払う必要があります。
映画館によって価格に違いがあり、Screen Xのみだと500円～700円。4DX ScreenXであれば、1400円～1600円を追加で払う必要があります。

決して安くはない追加料金ですので、最高の体験ができることを期待したいですね。
